The ability to manage a personal caseload independently and provide pragmatic commercial advice is essential. 2 days WFH Plus comprehensive benefits Key responsibilities: • End-to-end management of residential conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leases and lease extensions, new build transactions and shared ownership completions., • Carry out detailed property due diligence, review title documents, searches, planning and local authority enquiries; identify and raise appropriate requisitions and ensure prompt resolution of issues., • Prepare, review and negotiate transaction documentation including contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage documentation, SDLT returns and applications to HM Land Registry; manage exchanges and completions efficiently., • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including anti‑money laundering and client identification checks; maintain accurate and audit‑ready electronic and paper files in accordance with firm procedures., • Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors and other third parties to manage expectations, negotiate timescales and resolve transaction issues in a professional manner., • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing and updating precedents, checklists and workflows; support the adoption of property technology and digital tools to increase efficiency and reduce risk., • At least 3 years experience working within Residential Conveyancing, as a Fee Earner., • Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and HM Land Registry processes, with practical experience of drafting and reviewing contracts, transfer deeds and mortgage documentation., • Sound understanding of compliance obligations including AML and file audit procedures, with a track record of maintaining audit‑ready files., • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional manner when dealing with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders; ability to negotiate and resolve issues effectively.
