HR Business Partner 6 Rolling Month Contract Newbury, Reading (2 days a week in office) About the Role We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our dynamic People team within a leading organisation in the telecoms industry. This role plays a key part in shaping our people strategy, partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver high-impact solutions that enable organisational growth, capability, and performance. You will play a critical role in shaping our future operating model, supporting mass transformation activities, and ensuring our people strategy enables successful delivery of this multi‑layered change programme. Key Responsibilities • Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders during a large-scale merger and transformation programme., • Lead and influence significant people‑focused change initiatives across multiple business areas., • Provide expertise in organisational design, workforce planning, and operating model transitions., • Manage high‑volume, high‑complexity programme activity in a fast-moving environment., • Use data and insights to guide decision‑making and ensure alignment with the transformation roadmap., • Challenge and coach stakeholders to drive clarity, accountability, and effective change leadership., • Partner with project, transformation, and change teams to ensure seamless people delivery., • Adapt quickly and pivot between workstreams based on programme priorities. About You You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: • Proven experience as an HRBP within telecoms, tech, or large financial services (highly advantageous)., • A strong track record in large-scale transformation, mergers, organisational design, or complex operating model work., • Experience delivering within high-capacity, high-ambiguity, multi‑programme environments., • The ability to interpret complex business structures and influence stakeholders across matrixed teams., • Confidence to challenge thinking, problem-solve in real time, and provide commercially grounded HR advice., • Availability at short notice (immediate availability is strongly preferred).
