    Location: Berkshire and Nationwide Shift Pattern: Night shifts, Typically Sunday – Thursday with some flexibility. Please note on occasion there will be a requirement to work away from home approximately 3-4 nights per week. Role Overview Are you a hardworking individual who enjoys a hands-on role? We are looking for a Kitchen Extract Cleaning Operative to join our specialist hygiene team. In this role, you will be responsible for the deep cleaning of commercial kitchen ventilation systems (canopies, ductwork, and fans) to ensure our clients remain compliant with fire safety regulations (TR19 standards). This is a physically demanding role that involves working in confined spaces and at heights, often while the rest of the world is asleep. Key Responsibilities • Deep Cleaning: Removing grease and carbon deposits from kitchen canopies, filters, and internal ductwork., • Compliance: Ensuring all work is completed to TR19 or equivalent industry standards., • Reporting: Taking "before and after" photos and completing digital job sheets to provide evidence of a job well done., • Equipment Care: Maintaining specialist cleaning equipment and ensuring the van is stocked., • Safety: Adhering strictly to Health & Safety protocols, including the use of chemicals and PPE. What We’re Looking For • Reliability: You are punctual and can be trusted to work independently or as part of a small team., • Physical Fitness: Ability to handle heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working in cramped spaces., • Flexibility: Comfortable working night shifts and occasional weekends., • Full UK Driving License: Essential for traveling between client sites – van provided, • Experience: Previous experience in industrial cleaning or ductwork is a plus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Role Description We are seeking a self-sufficient, organised person to look after our warehouse, customer fulfilment, first lead customer service point, and undertake general basic administration for the company on a part-time basis. You will need to be confident to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, adaptable, able to work independently or in a team, and be effective with time and process management. The role is based in our warehouse/office location with Reading town centre. The role is advertised at 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and we are open to the hours that it is completed within a standard workday. For example, this could be completed within standard school hours, or with some agreed flexibility. Key responsibilities day to day will encapsulate customer and goods logistics and customer support. With wider time across a week/month for some general office administration, data entry and management, and stock organisation. Logistics: 1. Pick, pack and ship DTC and B2B orders., 2. Receive goods into warehouse, 3. Resolve any supplier or customer delivery issues, 4. Handle any exchanges, returns and customer service problem solving replenishments, 5. Manage seasonal delivery changes, final deadlines for shipments and supplier contact details Customer Support: 1. Be the day-to-day first port customer service lead for the company email inbox., 2. Maintain basic customer FAQ communications and handle queries Product Branding: 1. On occasion brand blank or custom products prior to shipment using a vinal cutter and heat press (training provided). Stock Management & Fulfilment: 1. UK Warehouse stock management including the warehouse space and organisation, any assembly/packing at warehouse., 2. Fulfilment chain administration, delivery and timeline, tracking, 3. Coordinate inbound shipping and freight forwarding and manage documentation, 4. Update inventory records, 5. SKU etc creation & cataloguing, 6. Stock system data administration, 7. Product issue logging General Administration: 1. Physical office basic administration and operational support, 2. Basic administration, data entry and management for the company, 3. Company post handling and flagging We are looking for someone who is highly organised, responsible, and has a positive self-starting can-do approach to pushing up their sleeves, applying themselves, and getting tasks done. Please note there is some physicality to this role with lifting and moving boxes, taking in deliveries and packing up larger corporate orders etc. Training on our systems and tools will be provided in your induction. Our team is friendly, hard-working, and mission-driven, researching and making new technologies and products to help people. Qualifications/Skills • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage warehouse, customer service, and administrative tasks, • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial, • Proficiency in using office software and communication tools is an advantage, • A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service, • Adaptable, can-do attitude and efficient operations, • Native or fluent English language
