The Harris Partnership a national architectural and multidisciplinary design practice is looking for a passionate and motivated IT apprentice to join their team. With over 40 years of experience and a host of industry awards, The Harris Partnership boasts a diverse and high-profile portfolio spanning retail, residential, commercial, and urban regeneration. As part of their IT team, you will play a key role in supporting the technology that underpins their innovative design work across multiple UK offices. In this role, you will work towards yourLevel 3 Information Communications Technician,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A typical day in the job: Providing first line remote and in person support to the seven offices within The Harris Group via our ticket system, emails, messages, and phone calls. Accurately logging, tracking, and prioritising helpdesk requests using our ticket system. Following IT standard procedures and policies. Maintaining user accounts across multiple systems. Configuring both hardware and software. Troubleshooting both hardware and software issues. When required, escalating issues to external suppliers or contacts. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £18,000 Per Annum. 37.5 Hours Per week. Generous Holiday entitlement. Cycle to work scheme. Desired Qualities, Skills, and Knowledge: Has a keen interest in IT and is willing to learn alongside working. Has strong communication and customer service skills. Can organise their workloads to meet deadlines. Is reliable and is willing to ask questions when unsure. Having a basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows OS (10 & 11). Having a basic knowledge of Windows PCs, laptops, and mobiles (iOS and Android). Having knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting techniques.
