Location: Cowley, Oxford (OX4 2PG)Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week, 12:30 18:30, Monday to FridaySalary: £20,880.60 per annum plus 22 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro-rata), pension, life assurance, employee assistance programme, wellbeing support, and flexible benefits schemeAbout the RoleYou'll have an important part to play as our part-time Conference Assistant, providing all meeting room and conference equipment requirements. In a fast-paced business environment, you'll regularly set up furniture and equipment for conferences and events, as well as providing, moving and installing Audio Visual (AV) support and carrying out routine equipment maintenance. You'll also occasionally cover reception during team breaks and holidays, supporting with relevant tasks in a small Client Services team. Training will be given.As part of your key responsibilities, you'll:Set up conference and meeting roomsMove various pieces of equipment, including heavy items such as chairs, tables and flip charts, as requiredOrganise storage areas, including furniture and AV equipmentSet up Audio Visual equipment and perform daily checks of digital signageManage equipment returns and maintenanceSupport conference facilitators and delegates with connecting to room AV systems and WiFiAssist with equipment installation, set-up and operationMaintain clean, tidy and organised conference rooms, storage areas and equipmentAbout You:We'd love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you'd be able to perform well in this role!Experience in conference centre support, hospitality, facilities, or basic AV event operations would be an advantageConfident in the use of IT equipment, including display and AV equipmentA confident and self-motivated individual, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a teamAbility to prioritise your own workload and follow instructions to meet tight deadlinesReliable, with a positive can-do attitude, a friendly and professional manner, and a willingness to learn new skillsPassionate about delivering excellent customer serviceGood attention to detailAbility to move equipment as mentioned in the responsibilitiesAbout Unipart:We are a supply chain performance improvement partner.
