He can walk with support but is also a wheelchair user. Overview of role: He requires an experienced waking night carer to join his team to assist with his bedtime routine and tend to all his needs throughout the night. This is an active night as you will need to keep a close eye on him, and following protocols if he has a seizure, supporting him with personal care, monitoring for any signs of distress, and In the mornings administering his PEG feed and medications. You will help sooth him, making sure he is comfortable, and he can get as much rest as possible. All activity throughout the night is to be accurately documented.
