KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and BAM UK & Ireland - BAM UK & Ireland's infrastructure segment is currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and is seeking a Sub Agent to join the Water Retain Barrier (WRB) Team. Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks will be required a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years can be considered for this role. Your team * Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth * Contract: Permanent, 42.5 hours a week Making Possible As a Sub Agent, you will be responsible for the following: • Leading, supervising and mentoring your reportees and other team members, • Assist with the monthly and quarterly commercial forecast and reporting for your areas of project, • Reviewing and ensuring that Inspection and Test Plans and checklist are in place and being followed, • Management of subcontractors, • Communicate with general foreman to ensure adequate work preparation and resources availability, • Degree, HND, HNC, NVQ in Construction/Engineering/Logistics or equivalent, • Proven track record in delivering construction/civils/logistics operations, • CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager, • SMSTS/ SSSTS, • Management skills (control and management of employees), • Commercially aware with excellent organisational skills, • Excellent communication skills and customer focused, • Excellent Interpersonal Skills, • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, • Strong attention to detail, • Proactive approach to work, • Working as part of a team to deliver objective of the department and project, • Enthusiastic, Collaborative approach, • Qualified to ICE Incorporated level or equivalent, • TW supervisor or experience in TW, • Experience with RC/marine civils/steelwork/paint systems, • Experience in relevant sector (ie Nuclear and Defence)Whats in it for you?, • Competitive salary, • A wide range of family-friendly policies, • Company car/car allowance/travel allowance, • 8 % matched pension contributions, • Private healthcare, • Life assurance, • 26 days holiday, • 2 wellbeing days, • 1 volunteering day, • Personal and professional development JBRP1_UKTJ
