Role Overview As a Production Assembly Technician, you will support the mechanical and limited electrical assembly of satellite structures, subsystems and components within cleanroom and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) - controlled environments. Working on a continuous production line, you’ll follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to deliver high-quality builds. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort with repetitive tasks, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, 24/7 shift environment. Person Specification: • Apprenticeship / Time served qualified engineering technician., • PLC experience the person must have high competency in Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen Bradley systems they be able to demonstrate a high level of fault finding and programming skills of the stated units., • Degree HNC / HND / NVQ, BTEC/ C&G or equivalent in Engineering above level 3 in both electrical & mechanical engineering., • Minimum of 3 years of troubleshooting and repair experience within an FMCG manufacturing or Industrial processing environment, • Experience & Knowledge of delivering CI activities, • Use of PC based windows 365 software such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc., • Excellent communication skills; must be fluent in English at a technical level., • Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills, • Professional manner with a “can do” attitude and flexible in approach, • Literate and numerate, • Reliable and methodical, • Calm under pressure, • Excellent communication skills, • Ability to work as part of a team as well individually., • Ability to understand and adhere to company procedures and health and safety regulations.
