Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a residential development in Burgess Hill, comprising a mix of timber frame housing and a traditional build tower block. This is a long-term opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong background in traditional construction methods and multi-unit residential delivery. Key Responsibilities • Lead the delivery of a mixed residential scheme including timber frame houses and a traditional RC / masonry tower block, • Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, • Oversee site teams including Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors, • Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations, • Coordinate with design, commercial, and client teams to drive project progress, • Monitor and manage subcontractor performance and site productivity, • Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance and site operations, • Attend and lead client meetings, progress reviews, and reporting, • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Requirements • Proven experience as a Project Manager on residential developments, • Strong background in traditional build construction (essential), • Experience delivering multi-storey / tower block projects, • Exposure to timber frame housing (preferred), • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and site teams simultaneously, • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, • Good understanding of UK building regulations and construction processes Qualifications • SMSTS, • CSCS (Black Card or equivalent), • First Aid (preferred), • Relevant construction qualification (HNC / Degree or equivalent) Additional Information • Long-term role offering stability and continuity, • Opportunity to work on a varied residential scheme combining different build methods, • Ideal for a hands-on Project Manager who is comfortable being site-based and driving delivery
