Consultant Project Manager - Huge long term progression Gloucester based office - 4 days remote/1 day in London per week (expenses paid) £40k circa dependant on experience (bonus scheme 2x yearly) Must hold SC clearance as a minimum Government/Project Governance experience required About Us A rapidly expanding consultancy working with government and complex organisations to deliver successful projects, programmes, and change. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Manager. Located in Gloucester, this position allows for a combination of on-site work and remote work flexibility. The Project Manager will oversee the progress of multiple projects, facilitate communication between teams, and ensure deliverables are met on time. Responsibilities include managing timelines, assisting in expediting project tasks, coordinating inspections, and ensuring efficient delivery management. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to support project goals and operational excellence. One of the core requirements of this role is for applicants to hold a current SC clearance. Skills • Clear written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage clients and senior stakeholders, • Strong organisation skills, with the ability to manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines, • Analytical mindset able to understand problems, structure information, and propose practical solutions, • Comfortable working with data, documents, and basic reporting (e.g. plans, RAID logs, actions), • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn from feedback Experience • Some exposure to project, programme, or change environments (through work, placements, internships, or university projects), • Experience supporting delivery activities such as planning, tracking actions, preparing materials, or coordinating meetings, • Interest in consulting and working with public sector or complex organisations, • Experience working in professional environments with multiple stakeholders (desirable, not essential) Qualifications • Degree or equivalent professional experience., • Working towards, or interest in gaining, a recognised project management qualification.
