By joining us you will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential. We have a varied case load including dermatology, orthopaedics, and feline medicine. Utilize our state-of-the-art in-house lab, AI microscope system for cytology work, in-house blood machine, and blood gas analysis. You will also have the opportunity to perform schedule 3 work, assist with diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound and radiography. You will be joining an existing team of 3 vets, with a dedicated reception team, RVNs, and student nurses. We strongly value and support further development and advanced studies. One of our vets is completing a dermatology certificate, and we actively support ISFM and advanced nursing certificates for our nursing team. About the Role: To apply for this role you will be a qualified RVN who is confident with consults. You will have good general nursing experience and great customer service skills, be cheerful, down-to-earth and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in animal welfare. We also welcome candidates who may be looking for future career progression, including those with an interest in stepping into a Head Nurse role over time. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills, and we actively encourage nurses to bring their own interests into the practice. We're currently expanding into laparoscopic surgery and advanced dental imaging, so this would suit someone keen to grow with the practice. This is a Full or Part Time role including a mixture of early and late weekday shifts, as the practice is open 8:30am-7:00pm Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (9:00am-12:00pm). There is no out-of-hours work required.
