Big Bazaar is a supermarket with speciality in Indian Grocery, it's a fast paced interactive job space. We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team in Big Bazaar Reading, (rg1 5bj) as a Cashier, Shelving and Stock Management. In this role, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records of sales, and ensuring that our store shelves are well-stocked and organized. You will also be responsible for managing our inventory and coordinating with our vendors and suppliers. Responsibilities: > Greet customers as they arrive and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience. > Ring up sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system. > Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods. > Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store shelves and display areas. > Stock shelves and rotate merchandise as needed to ensure that products are fresh and fully stocked. > Keep track of inventory levels and coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. > Monitor and report on sales trends and inventory levels to management Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations as needed. > Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following cleaning and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications: > High school diploma or equivalent > Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment preferred > Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling > Excellent customer service and communication skills > Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment > Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed > Proficiency in basic math and computer skills > Must speak in English and Hindi > Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Company Background: The Waves Group supplies hand car wash services to supermarkets and retailers across the UK. Waves has more than 280 franchised sites operating. Waves works hard to consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service, compliance, and marketing. Summary: Waves require a maintenance technician to cover branches from Reading to Swindon down to Basingstoke area and surrounding areas. The car wash sites are located nationally so there could be requirement at times to travel further afield. Our new sites could be anywhere in the country and will require you to spend at least 1 night away from home per week. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with determination and a “can do” attitude to get into a growing and developing company. Roles and Responsibilities: • Complete commissioning of brand-new sites • You may also be required to be Site Supervisor training may be provided • Carry out planned improvement works • Auditing the site equipment • Carry out repairs • Dealing with breakdowns/replacement of equipment • Pat-testing sites (training may be provided) Personal Attributes: • Reliable • Self-motivated • Able to work with minimum supervision • Good communication skills • Hard working and a can-do attitude Skills required: • Must have a full drivers license • Ideally live in one of the regions that this role will cover and be able to commute to other areas in the region. • Experience of working with plumbing and electrics • Good DIY skills • Knowledge of I.T programs including Word, Excel, Outlook • Experience of problem solving and diagnosis Desirable But Not Essential Qualifications: • Pat testing • CSCS Card • Electrical or plumbing experience. Package: Hours: Full Time (40 hpw) Location: Position will be field based, but you would be expected to visit head office in Putney occasionally and stay away from at least 1 night per week Holidays: 22 days per year + statutory holidays + Birthday Salary: £29,000- £30,000
