We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems properly and is confident working independently on a wide range of vehicles. 🔧 THE ROLE You will be responsible for: ✅ Vehicle servicing and maintenance ✅ Diagnostics and fault finding ✅ Mechanical repairs ✅ Electrical fault diagnosis and repairs ✅ Clutch replacement ✅ Timing belts / timing chains ✅ Brakes and suspension ✅ Engine repairs ✅ Vehicle inspections and health checks ✅ Road testing vehicles when required ✅ Maintaining a clean and safe working environment 👨‍🔧 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR We want a technician who: ✅ Has a recognised Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent ✅ Has solid workshop experience ✅ Is confident with diagnostics and fault finding ✅ Can work independently without constant supervision ✅ Can handle major mechanical repairs ✅ Has good electrical/diagnostic knowledge ✅ Takes pride in quality workmanship ✅ Is reliable, punctual and professional 💷 SALARY Salary negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and ability. We install a wide range of products including but not limited to; self-levelling, air suspension, towbars, solar panels and aircons. The job also includes carrying out services (not mechanical) on leisure vehicles, such as a habitation service on motorhomes or campervans, and caravan services. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge and experience in engineering, either from previous work experience at college, job role or self-taught. They will be able to think logically when fault finding to carry out repairs and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety. They will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients’ experiences by providing a professional and efficient workplace manner. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to deliver exceptional customer service. Training will be provided but candidate must be able to use a variety of basic hand tools with ease.
