Working closely with the Assistant Headteacher (Quality of Education) and the wider leadership team, you will play a central role in shaping high-quality teaching and learning. You’ll help create an engaging, innovative curriculum while contributing to a calm, safe, and inclusive school culture where every child can thrive. \n The role is challenging, meaningful, and deeply rewarding, within a school that places safeguarding, pupil voice, and respect at the heart of everything we do. \n Deliver engaging, inclusive ICT and Computer Science lessons tailored to a range of additional needs \n Plan and implement high-quality ICT, Literacy, and Numeracy provision \n Model and champion outstanding teaching and learning through classroom practice \n Deliver a stimulating, innovative curriculum that inspires creativity and academic success \n Implement a robust assessment cycle, including target setting, progress tracking, and monitoring \n Use pupil progress data to improve teaching, motivate learners, and inform parents and leaders \n Support pupils to achieve outcomes that demonstrate strong personal progress \n Support the review and implementation of teaching, learning, marking, and assessment policies \n Identify, manage, and prioritise high-quality teaching and learning resources and budgets \n Support pupils’ personal, social, and academic development \n Contribute to effective pupil induction, grouping, and pastoral care \n Work collaboratively with teachers, middle leaders, senior leaders, and pastoral teams \n Can confidently deliver coding as part of the curriculum (essential)\n Holds UK QTS or an equivalent qualification \n Is a strong, creative classroom practitioner \n Is motivated to work with pupils with varied and complex needs \n Meadowcroft is an independent specialist day school for pupils aged from 5 to 19, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs across 4 sites in Wakefield.
