Academic Tutors Needed to join children's tuition agency Kamakala Kids House. I am currently looking for tutors experienced in teaching Maths and English to primary school age children, with experience teaching for the 11+ exams and other school entrance examinations a bonus. You must have at least two years experience with tutoring/teaching, great communication skills, empathy, patience and genuine enthusiasm for helping to build children's confidence and raise their academic attainment. Tuition roles are usually during after school hours with a start time typically between 4-6pm. Lessons are usually an hour long and we pay our tutors £40 per hour. The majority of our students are in and around Dulwich so you must be able to commute to this area for lessons. As we are a small agency, I am on hand to help you with lesson planning and resources as needed. This is a part time role (the average number of hours our tutors teach per week is around 5 hours). Tutor needed immediately starting next week N12 . We are seeking a candidate to work with a high-functioning ASD student who possesses the capability to achieve a GCSE grade of 7 or higher. This student does not exhibit behavioural issues, but does have some mild OCD tendencies. The student will receive individualised instruction and will primarily focus on practicing past exam papers for Maths, and Triple Science subjects. The position requires someone to be present 5 days a week for 3-4 hours each day also join her for intervention therapy session such as equine , cooking , pat and play therapy .
