Job Title: Senior Project Manager (UK) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex projects in the payments and financial industry. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with organizational policies and customer requirements, and drive projects to successful completion within scope, time, and budget. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and monitor all contractual commitments, ensuring they are tracked and communicated effectively with customers., • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and proposals., • Oversee all project phases, including research, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-rollout review., • Monitor project budgets, scope changes, and resource forecasting to ensure financial health., • Establish a project governance framework to keep stakeholders informed and engaged., • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues through RAID logs., • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual commitments., • Provide accurate project Estimated Time to Completion (ETC) for revenue forecasting., • Maintain project management data in systems such as Jira and Salesforce., • Approve timesheets and produce weekly project updates for internal and external stakeholders., • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration., • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement., • Collaborate with clients to select appropriate project methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), or hybrid models., • Serve as Scrum Master when utilizing Agile methodologies, ensuring smooth execution and stakeholder alignment., • Mentor and guide less experienced team members., • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience., • 7+ years of client project management experience, with at least 5 years in the payments or financial services industry. What are T Levels? T Levels are new courses coming in September 2020, which will follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to three A levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses, so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work. T Levels will offer students a mixture of classroom learning and 'on-the-job' experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days. They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship. The Role The T Level Examiner role is an excellent opportunity to earn some extra money in a contract role, alongside any full-time commitments you may have, whilst also developing your career in education. T-Level Examiners mark candidate responses in accordance with a pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to the Code of Practice and published examination procedures. Assessments will be marked either onscreen using ePEN, which can be completed from home, or by the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. Job Title: C&I Lead Principal Engineer Location: Glasgow Overview: C&I Lead Principal Engineer based in Glasgow on a 12 month contract duration. Responsibilities: • Work activities will include project work as the functional Lead Engineer on a Project for Gas transmission industry. • Lead a team of Engineers and Designers both based in the UK and globally to deliver the C&I scope of work on the project. • Work activities will be executed across FEED and Detailed Design phases of projects. • Project work will include the development of Control & Instrument Engineering deliverables. Qualifications: Skills / Qualifications: • Experience in Control & Instrument Engineering Design on Medium / Large capital projects from concept to start-up. • Extensive experience in Gas industry. • Previous experience on NGT projects preferable and/or G35 approver experience is preferred. • Competent in working within the C&I Discipline of a contracting organisation. • Competent to Lead the C&I Discipline interface with other Disciplines • Very good proactive communicator. The role involves liaison with Client Engineers & Project Management. • Proven ability for equipment specification and the selection and in ensuring compliance from the suppliers, preferably within an EPC contracting organisation. • Competent in project execution using selected design tools and techniques. • Competent in budget & Schedule control/monitoring and reporting. • Competent in design safety, and constructability. • To be able to work to Company standards. • Innovative when appropriate. • Competent in Electrical protection methodologies. • Competent in Specification, technical bid analysis, and requisitioning of Field Instrumentation and Analysers. • Competent in the application, specification, and requisitioning of DCS, PLC, and SIS systems, with experience in the system's full lifecycle. (TUV FS Eng qualification or equivalent preferable). • Competent in the Specification / Design / Implementation of Hazardous Area Instrumentation (ATEX). • Competent in Instrumentation and Control requirements for Mechanical packages. • Competent in P&ID development. • Competent in the Sizing of flow devices/control valves/relief devices. • Experience of working with global integrated delivery teams is preferred.
