Stores & Logistics Coordinator Location: Braintree, Essex Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Job Type: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Pay Rate:£14.10 per hour About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and well-established operation based in Braintree. This is an ongoing temporary role offering full-time hours and a varied, hands-on position across stores, dispatch, and international logistics. Key Responsibilities • Receiving and counting stock items, inputting details accurately onto the in-house system, • Packing, unpacking, and storing items in an organised and accessible manner, • Dealing with and resolving any stock-related issues, • Carrying out regular stock checks and physical inventory counts, • Completing daily stores, goods-in, and dispatch tasks, • Operating a forklift truck and other equipment to load, unload, and move materials, • Issuing and distributing materials, parts, and supplies to the workshop from requisitions, • Liaising with UK and overseas customers to arrange deliveries to final destinations, • Maintaining accurate records and supporting audits and inspections, • Receiving and processing air freight shipments, • Receiving and processing sea freight shipments, • Providing accurate clearance instructions to freight agents, • Researching freight costings and obtaining quotations, • Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or warehouse environment, • Strong stock control and inventory management knowledge, • Experience with air and sea freight (desirable), • Knowledge of IATA / IMDG dangerous goods shipping (advantageous), • Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain), • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, • Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with customers and freight agents, • £14.10 per hour, • Ongoing temporary role, • Monday to Friday working hours, • Braintree location, • Supportive team environment with a varied workload
