Job Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Location: Watnall, Nottingham As our next Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping a safe, supportive, and compliant environment in our bakery. Leading a Health & Safety Advisor and a team of Security colleagues, you’ll demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to think strategically. You’ll be decisive, influential, and motivated by the challenge of turning ideas into meaningful improvements. With a proactive approach, you’ll advise on controls to reduce health, safety, and environmental risks, while identifying opportunities to raise standards even further. This role is for someone who has genuine passion and energy for health, safety, and the environment. You’ll be constantly looking for new ways to engage people, challenge behaviours, and bring colleagues with you on a journey of continuous improvement. As our next Health, Safety & Environmental Manager, you’ll support compliance with legal requirements, maintain internal systems (including our ISO standards such as 45001), and drive continuous improvements. Your remit also covers environmental management, so no two days will ever be the same. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and influence not only safe working practices but also the wider sustainability of our operations.
