Role: Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics Company Name: Vertex Pharmaceuticals Type of Role: Contract position, Inside IR35 Contract length: 14 months Location: Hybrid, 3 days on site in Paddington, London. General Summary: The Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics supports and leads commercial analytics efforts for their department within the Commercial organization. The role partners cross-functionally to support key initiatives to assess and improve departmental goals and operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Evolve and maintain technology/systems to enrich the end-user experience, and produce meaningful, accurate, and timely internal reports., • May lead redesign projects and manage/optimize ongoing reporting and dashboarding capabilities., • Integrate data into effective reports and resources., • Ensure integrity of data., • Support the tools and tracking of goals and department objectives., • Define and prioritize new capabilities, requirements, and processes that support departmental goals., • Gather necessary input own department and cross-functional stakeholders to inform necessary business requirements for new capabilities/technologies., • Collaborate with the broader company U.S. enterprise, GIS, and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure awareness of new capabilities, consistent benchmarking, and interactions with technology and data experts., • Establish strong relationships with vendors and manage contracts within budget. Knowledge and Skills: • Experience working with the Sales Force platform or similar CRM., • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills., • Experience with Commercial review process for resource development and utilization., • Understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment., • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze complex data., • Proven track record of success with strong results and excellent customer relationship skills., • Able to perform in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and communicate complex information clearly., • Independent worker with demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills., • Understanding of emerging technologies with insight into where those technologies can be integrated into business solutions., • Proactive, thorough, well organized, and self-motivated. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline required., • Relevant experience in life sciences organization or healthcare industry.
