Candidsky is looking to appoint a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to own outbound new business and build a predictable pipeline of qualified opportunities. This is a true “hunter” role focused on cold outreach, discovery, pitching and closing pre-defined service packages across SEO, Paid Media and integrated digital marketing solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and converting new revenue, while protecting margin, maintaining strong qualification standards, and ensuring a smooth transition into delivery. Job Description: To generate consistent, profitable new revenue for Candidsky through structured outbound activity, strong qualification, high-quality proposal development, and confident commercial negotiation. This role is accountable for: • Building and managing a healthy outbound pipeline, • Converting qualified opportunities into profitable long-term clients, • Protecting margin and positioning Candidsky as a strategic partner, • Creating a repeatable and scalable outbound sales process Key Responsibilities: • Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation, • Build and manage a defined target account list aligned to Candidsky’s ICP (industry, size, growth stage, budget profile)., • Execute structured outbound campaigns including:, • Cold email sequences, • Cold calling, • LinkedIn prospecting and follow-up, • Personalise outreach at scale while maintaining efficiency., • Test messaging and refine scripts based on response and conversion rates., • Maintain full CRM accuracy (notes, stages, follow-ups, forecasting)., • Ensure all outreach activity complies with UK GDPR and PECR regulations., • This role requires high daily activity levels and strong resilience. Qualifications and Skills: • 3–7+ years in outbound business development or sales., • Experience selling marketing services, retainers or agency packages preferred., • Proven track record of cold outreach and closing., • Experience managing full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature., • Strong CRM discipline (HubSpot or similar)., • Skills & Behaviours, • Highly driven and commercially motivated., • Resilient and consistent under pressure., • Strong communicator (verbal and written)., • Consultative selling style., • Organised and accountable., • Commercially disciplined (protects margin, avoids overselling)., • Team-oriented and collaborative with delivery functions.
