Key Responsibilities 1. Website & Analytics Management • Monitor performance of the company website using Analytical Cookies data and tools like Google Analytics 4., • Track key metrics: bounce rate, traffic source, session duration, and goal completions (e.g., "Contact Us" clicks, service page views for Boiler Repair or Electrical Safety Inspections)., • Analyze user behavior patterns to identify which services (e.g., Commercial Catering Gas Safety vs. Fuse Board Upgrades) generate the most online interest. 2. Campaign & Conversion Analysis • Measure ROI of local marketing initiatives (e.g., Google Ads for "landlord gas safety certificate", social media posts about EV charging installation)., • Create dashboards to track lead form submissions, phone calls from the website, and service inquiry-to-booking conversion rates., • Segment data by customer type (homeowner vs. business owner) to tailor marketing messages for services like Electrical Installation Condition Reports. 3. Market & Customer Insights • Analyze service request data to identify seasonal trends (e.g., boiler repairs in winter, EPC requests before summer letting)., • Conduct competitive analysis of other local electrical and gas safety providers., • Use feedback and cookie consent preference data (functional/performance cookies) to improve user experience and personalize content. 4. Reporting & Recommendations • Generate weekly/monthly reports on digital marketing performance, including ad campaign effectiveness and website user flow., • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize service pages (e.g., reducing bounce rate on the "Our Services" section)., • Increase in organic traffic to service pages (EV charging, gas safety inspections)., • Improvement in conversion rate from website visitor to contact form submission., • Reduction in cost-per-lead for paid advertising campaigns., • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or related field., • 1-3 years experience in marketing analytics (local service business experience a plus)., • Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau)., • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning)., • Understanding of cookie-based tracking, consent management, and privacy regulations (UK GDPR, PECR)., • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable English for a non-technical business owner.
