WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING You will be assisting customers and sales teams with technical queries; using your analytical and problem solving skills to advise them on the best course of action to take, or the best item to use. For example, a new water treatment plant may be being built and they want to know the best membrane to use. You won’t be expected to know the best answer immediately, but with time this is the sort of guidance you’ll be giving. It’s something to be proud of. And the more guidance you can give to customers, the less will have to be referred to suppliers; meaning a better service for the customers. You’ll also be helping with customer training on the use of the products. And resolving any technical issues that come up. And you will provide proposals and quotations for customers if they are looking for something new. You’ll be learning and using engineering software and tools; and will get to know about the water treatment industry. In time, you’ll get to go to occasional site visits. Salary is between £28,000 - £30,000 and you’ll also be working towards a quarterly bonus. Start date is ASAP.
