Science & ICT Teacher (Secondary) Location: Brent, London, UK Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Start Date: 13 April 2026 Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Term Time Only) Salary: £37,868 – £56,154 per year Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary of £56,154 is applicable to candidates with substantial teaching experience equivalent to U3. Teach Now is seeking a passionate and motivated Science & ICT Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Brent, North West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys inspiring young people in both science and technology, helping students build strong subject knowledge, digital literacy and critical thinking skills. You will teach General Science across Key Stages 3–4 and ICT/Computing up to Key Stage 5, delivering engaging lessons that support students of varying abilities to achieve excellent outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS4, • Teach ICT/Computing across KS3–KS5, developing students’ digital and problem-solving skills, • Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level assessments where applicable, • Track and assess student progress, providing clear feedback to support improvement, • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement, • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning, • Participate in the wider school community, including STEM initiatives, enrichment activities and parents’ evenings Benefits • Competitive salary: £37,868 – £56,154 per year, • Supportive and collaborative teaching environment, • Opportunities for professional development and career progression, • Access to modern teaching resources and facilities, • Work within a diverse and inclusive school community Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, • Degree in Science, ICT, Computing or a related subject, • Experience teaching Science at KS3/KS4, • Ability to teach ICT/Computing up to KS5, • Strong classroom management and communication skills, • Commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and abilities Why work via Teach Now?
