We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Thames Water – Maple Lodge STW team based in Rickmansworth. Location: Maple Lodge STW, Rickmansworth Hours: Full time - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. This is an exciting opportunity to join a major water infrastructure upgrade project, supporting and deputising for the Commercial Manager. You'll lead day-to-day commercial management of key packages, ensuring robust cost control, supply chain management, and accurate reporting. What will you be responsible for? As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them in delivering all commercial and contractual responsibilities on this major project. Your day to day will include: • Managing the commercial and financial aspects of allocated works packages, ensuring adherence to contract terms and internal governance, • Preparing and maintaining detailed cost forecasts, cashflow projections, and variance analyses with accurate and timely reporting, • Leading change management processes including valuation, justification, and agreement of variations, • Managing procurement and administration of subcontract packages from tender enquiry through to final account settlement, • Providing guidance and technical support to Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs, reviewing their outputs and supporting their development What are we looking for?
