Join Sonya Restaurant at King's Road and be part of the exciting journey of our newly opened Aegean restaurant. Our menu is inspired by fishermen, farmers, and family tavernas across the Aegean from Bodrum to Naxos and Izmir to Santorini. We regularly change our menu with the seasons and availability. Originally from Turkey, our executive chef Sercan qualified top of the class in 2009 from Le Cordon Blu. Sercan has worked in the London Fine Dining circuit for 10 years, including three restaurants in the world’s 100 Best restaurants list (The Ledbury, Le Gavroche). The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail. You will assist the Executive Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation. Responsibilities
Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
Provide training and professional development opportunities for all kitchen staff Qualifications
2+ years' of culinary or kitchen experience
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
