SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Harrow, West London Start Date: April 2026 (Summer Term) Contract: Day-to-day, Full-Time, Part-Time & Long-Term positions available Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience) We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across Secondary Schools in Harrow throughout the Summer Term. There are a range of opportunities available, including day‑to‑day, full‑time, and long‑term positions. These roles offer a fantastic chance to support pupils across KS3 and KS4, helping them stay engaged in their learning and achieve their full potential. The Role: • Supporting identified pupils across KS3 and KS4, including those with SEN, SEMH, and additional learning needs, on both a 1:1 and small‑group basis, • Helping pupils maintain focus, follow routines, and stay positively engaged with subject learning, • Providing support within lessons as well as during targeted intervention sessions when required, • Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation, independence, and confidence, • Working collaboratively with subject teachers, pastoral teams, and the SENDCo to implement tailored support strategies, • Creating a calm, structured, and supportive environment to help pupils feel secure and able to succeed The Ideal Candidate: • Experience working with young people - this can be from schools or other relevant sectors, such as youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, social care, or roles supporting vulnerable young people, • Calm, patient, and consistent when managing behaviour or supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, • Strong understanding of the importance of routine, structure, boundaries, and emotional support, • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff in a secondary setting, • Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond to individual pupil needs and changing situations, • Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and develop confidence both academically and personally Why Work with ANZUK?: • Competitive daily pay rates, • Opportunity to secure a long-term role with potential to continue into September, • Support from a dedicated consultant, • Access to CPD and safeguarding training, • Work within a supportive and well-established school environment How to Apply: If you’re looking for a rewarding Teaching Assistant role where you can make a real difference to pupils’ day-to-day school experience, apply today with your CV
