QC Analyst Hereford Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am 4:30pm | Friday, 8:00am 1:00pm Pay Rate: £13.66 per hour Contract: Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent We are currently recruiting for a QC Analyst to join a busy and growing quality control team based in Hereford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or quality control experience looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. Key Responsibilities • Carry out routine analytical testing and organoleptic assessment of raw materials, • Issue certificates of analysis for products, • Communicate test results with Production, Development, and Purchasing teams, • Support Production with technical and quality-related queries, • Maintain accurate laboratory and computer records, • Maintain, check, and calibrate laboratory equipment, • Ensure all laboratory work is completed in line with health & safety and good laboratory practices, • Support food safety, quality, integrity, and legal compliance standards, • Review batch production and laboratory control records, • Assist with QC release of packed products, • Approve or reject raw materials, intermediates, and finished products where required, • Support validation protocols, quality reviews, and q...
