Position: Area Sales Manager Location: North West (Postcodes covering WN, WA, ST, SK, PR, OL, M, LA, L, HX, HD, FY, DE, CW, CH, CA, BL, BD, BB, LL, PA, ML, KA, G, DG) Salary: £50k + bonus + car/car allowance My client is a specialises within the Coatings & Paints industry. Role: • Responsible for maintaining and developing the existing customer base and revenue forging long-term business relationships. • Sourcing and on-board new business opportunities, working collaboratively with stakeholders within company to secure and win the business. • Conduct face-to-face meetings with new and existing customer base in accordance with department the key performance indicators. • Plan relevant call objective for every customer meeting in line with customer needs, situation appraisal and business priorities. • Have all available up to date information for call planning, sector, products, and services. • Actively source new business opportunities within the designated territory across a wide platform of sectors and industries for the purpose of selling the products and services of the company. • Achieve set revenue and new business targets & key performance indicators. • Conduct product trials with customers from inception through to close working collaboratively with technical team. • Present the company’s portfolio of products and brand image in a professional and constructive manner. • Maintain accurate company records of customer visits and interactions at all times in line with the company standards • Consistently manage new business pipeline activity and update CRM system accordingly. • Produce accurate and timely forecasting as required. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training and development courses • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events within designated territory. • Contribute to team performance by accomplishing target related results as needed. • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors. • Work collaboratively with the accounts department to ensure that all outstanding invoices are paid on time and in full. • Prepare and present professional proposals for existing and prospective customers. • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards. • Prepare and present detailed analysis of the performance of your territory and customer base in sales meetings and across the business where needed. • Ensure that you have up to date prices and product lists. • To proactively participate in sales drives and focus areas. • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
