Security Systems Specialist Full time, Permanent Location – Selby or Glasgow, with travel to other locations as required About the role: Reporting to the Security Systems Manager, the Security Systems Specialist will play a key role in maintaining, fault finding, optimising, and upgrading the wider Drax security systems infrastructure. This includes ensuring the effective operation of CCTV, access control, perimeter detection, and associated security technologies across all Drax sites in the UK and overseas. As a Security Systems Specialist, you’ll work proactively to identify vulnerabilities, support system resilience, and implement improvements that enhance overall security performance. You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and contractors to deliver a stable, secure, and future ready security platform that supports both operational needs and regulatory requirements. This role will require travel to sites throughout the UK as required, and there may be times where you’ll be working away from home. Additionally, you’ll be required to be on-call 1 week in every 4, as the team provides 24/7 support. In return you’ll receive an on-call allowance as part of the package on offer. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include: • Work with the team to provide expert support on Drax’s security infrastructure including CCTV, access control, intruder, perimeter intrusion detection, barrier, gates, and turnstile systems, • Manage and coordinate third party contractors and suppliers, ensuring safe working practices, clear briefs, compliance with site rules, accurate RAMS, and delivery of work to a high standard., • Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries, performance monitoring, and signoff of works., • Deliver assigned security projects in scope and on time., • Assist the Security Systems Analyst and Security Systems Apprentice with the daily BAU tasks We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. Compliance Manager - Social Housing: Gas, Electrical and Repairs South London Up to £65,000 + Benefits We are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join a leading social housing contractor, to lead and deliver compliance excellence across repairs and maintenance contracts. Working with internal teams and supply chain, you will be responsible for ensuring all works are compliant with relevant industry standards and contractual obligations including gas servicing and breakdowns, electrical remedials / upgrades, legionella, asbestos, passenger lifts, FRA (fire risk assessments), fire alarms and emergency lighting. The Role of Tax Manager The Tax Manager will support and manage a portfolio of clients, providing assistance across UK direct and indirect tax matters, including HMRC payroll and employment tax compliance. The role involves delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services while supporting client relationships and internal team development. Key Responsibilities of the Tax Manager Direct Tax Assist clients with UK corporation tax and personal tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations and filing and returns. Support clients on tax planning matters and ad-hoc advisory queries. Liaise with HMRC on enquiries, disclosures, and correspondence. Assist with quarterly, year-end tax provisions and related disclosures. Indirect Tax Support clients with VAT registrations, VAT return preparation and review and VAT submission. Advise on VAT treatments for transactions. Support clients other VAT compliance where applicable. Payroll & Employment Taxes Assist clients with HMRC payroll compliance, including PAYE, RTI submissions and filings. Support preparation and review of P11D and PSA returns. Others Develop financial and economic analyses and models to support restructuring and pricing decisions and ensuring transfer pricing compliance. Prepare project deliverables including reports, presentations, Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country (CbC) reports. Client & Practice Support Manage day-to-day client communications and provide timely tax support. Assist with onboarding new clients and understanding their tax requirements. Qualifications & Experience Essential Qualified CTA / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years' UK tax experience within an accountancy or tax advisory firm. Practical experience in direct and indirect tax compliance. Exposure to HMRC payroll and employment tax matters. Strong working knowledge of UK tax legislation. We are seeking a Data Centre Team Leader to manage and support our client’s critical Data Centre cabling infrastructure, server and network hardware environment, and physical security controls. This is a site-based role focused on delivering Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) and Business As Usual (BAU) works. The Role Reporting to the Local Data Centre Manager, you will coordinate and manage a team of 4+ local DC Operations Engineers working on a 24/7 rotating shift. You will work closely with the client and Service Delivery Manager to enhance operational systems, processes, and service deliverables. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Coordination: Manage shift activities, mentor new starters, and supervise special projects from design through to handover. Device Provisioning & Change: Oversee rack building, copper/fiber patching, SFP module installations, and complete hardware deployments. Connectivity & Testing: Ensure rigorous connectivity testing and manage change records for all new installs and server moves. Decommissions & Asset Management: Approve physical change records, manage secure equipment removal, and oversee the asset disposal process via ServiceNow. Process Knowledge: Expert understanding of complex change management, service delivery processes, and asset management systems. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise teams, manage 3rd party providers, and act as a brand ambassador to build strong inter-departmental relationships.
