Then you may be interested to know that we a vacancy available for an Allied Health Professional Support Practitioner to join our team. This post is based from Inverness covering town and rural areas (some travel within Highland will be required) working independently, with the supervision of a qualified therapist. The Occupational Therapy Service and Speech and Language Therapy teams are based across the Highland Council area. We work in a cohesive and supportive teams who use a range of OT / SLT skills within our working practice. The successful applicant will focus on supporting the OT/ SLT teams with delivery and recording of assessments, and direct and indirect Interventions to promote independence, speech, language and communication for children and young people. This will include being involved in the provision of individual and group work, preparing and carrying out workshops, etc. We work with children with physical, developmental and neuro-developmental needs in a variety of settings.
