Role Summary We are looking for a Food & Market Trader Manager, to manage the day-to-day process of selling Food & Market rights for Boardmasters Festival, and Market rights for Truck Festival and Y Not Festival. With scope for the role to evolve further across other events within the portfolio. You will be responsible for sourcing new business leads, converting incoming leads and re-signing existing clients. You will be responsible for managing existing contacts, ensuring clients receive regular communications and adding new contacts to the trade database. You will be required to provide weekly financial updates and progress reports to the Senior Management team. The role will be office-based; however, you will be required to attend the events, helping to manage the delivery and fulfilment. You will be a point of contact for our catering client and traders during the live show, which will involve dealing with queries and ensuring all production requirements are delivered. As this is a sales role there will be set revenue targets and commission will be based on sales generated against targets. Job Description Main Responsibilities: • Manage online booking system and application processes, • B2B negotiations, • Cold calling outgoing leads, managing incoming leads; telephone, email and face-to-face sales, generating leads throughout reach work such as going to trade shows, • Managing and building existing contacts database, • Advance of trade & catering pitches, across event(s), • Managing relationship with key catering client, • Managing Trade & Catering assistants, • Working closely with the Finance team(s) to ensure payments are received, • Managing trade and catering clients on site during live events, • Hit and exceed where possible revenue targets set for each show, • Identifying and generating new revenue streams where possible Key Skills and Attributes: • Ability to take instruction and deliver tasks successfully, • Attention to detail and pride in your work, • Awareness of time pressures/sense of urgency, • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), • Confident around others; you’ll demonstrate potential to build strong relationships, • Enthusiastic and hungry to learn, • Organisation and prioritisation, • Ability to multitask and work across several projects at the same time, • You will display sound communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients
