Stores/Stock Controller – Part Time \n Salary: £28,000 per annum pro rata \n Owls Hall Environmental is a leading wastewater engineering business that is expanding to help our customers to comply with the demands of new legislation. \n We have a fantastic opportunity for a stock/stores controller to join our growing team. The candidate will be a well-organised person that is able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines as well as assist the Service Manager to manage the on-site facilities, including the showroom. \n About the position \n Key duties and responsibilities include: \n\n • Overseeing the management, purchase and replenishment of goods to guarantee stock levels and timely fulfilment of orders\n, • Maintaining accurate records of inventory and stock management systems\n, • Ensuring outsourced products are of consistent quality and arrive as per specification and within budget, whilst meeting customers’ expectations\n, • Liaising with Planning, Sales and Operations departments to forecast supply and demand\n, • Analysing pricing structures to achieve competitive prices and suggesting adjustments to benefit from pricing deals\n, • Supervising the maintenance of the warehouse/storerooms and ensuring proper arrangement of stock\n, • Preparing stock required by the installation teams\n, • Ensuring that the stores, workshop and yard are kept in a tidy and organised manner.\n, • Raising purchase orders to suppliers\n, • Organising couriers, deliveries or collections dependant on location and logistics.\n, • Regularly monitoring and organising replenishment of engineer’s van stocks\n\n Experience, skills and aptitude required: \n\n • Minimum of two years’ work experience in a stores position\n, • Ability to support engineering team technically\n, • Attention to detail\n, • The ability to multitask as the chosen candidate will often have to work on several tasks simultaneously\n, • Clear communication skills\n, • Being able to work independently as well as building strong relationships with other teams\n, • Ability to prioritise own workload.\n, • Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office\n, • Great customer service\n, • Forklift licence\n, • UK driving licence\n\n In return, you will receive: \n\n • A competitive salary, pro rata, reviewed yearly\n, • Contributory pension scheme\n, • 28 days annual leave, pro rata, increasing with length of service\n, • The option to buy up to five days annual leave per year, pro rata where applicable\n, • Paid birthday on us and working with a charity of your choice for a day per year\n, • Employee wellbeing programme, which offers confidential support, information, expert advice and specialist counselling service to all employees\n, • Supply of uniform and overalls\n, • Full training\n, • Free on-site parking\n\n Additional Information \n\n • You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.\n\n No agencies or canvassing, please.
