CNC Miller and Turners North Nottingham Permanent Circa £16 per hour + Shift Premium EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances; therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered. Key Benefits on offer: • Circa £16 per hour + Shift Premium (up to 75%), • Various shifts available:, • Days with early finish Fridays, • Weekend Days (Friday to Sunday 6am - 6pm), • Weekend Nights (Friday to Sunday 6pm - 6am), • Days/Nights Rotation ( Day Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7am-4pm, Friday, 7am – 12pm / Night Shift: Monday – Wednesday, 8pm – 6am, Thursday, 8pm – 5am), • Contnentals, • Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays), • Quarterly bonus, • Annual salary reviews - Opportunity to earn up to 5% extra, • PLUS MANY MORE! Your responsibilities include: • Setting and operating multi-axis CNC Milling machines, • Machining small to medium-sized complex parts using various materials such as Aluminium, Stainless Steel, and Titanium for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, and many more!, • Machining to tight tolerances, • Working from engineering drawings Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: • Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist - Milling, • Experience in setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines, • Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, or Siemens control panels, • Previous experience in machining complex parts for precision industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil and gas etc, • Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium, • Experience with machining to tight tolerances, • Confident working with small to medium-sized components, • Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings About us: EMBS Engineering is a dedicated talent specialist that partners with some of the UK's most prestigious, advanced, precision engineering companies within the Aerospace, Automotive / Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Green, Environmental, and FMCG industries.
