Operations Administrator Your new company Hays are recruiting for a temporary to permanent Operations Administrator for an established organisation within the financial services sector who is seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support a specialist project team. Your new role This temporary‑to‑permanent role will suit someone with strong administrative capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily operations, managing critical correspondence, and ensuring the smooth running of project workflows. Key Responsibilities • Email & Correspondence Management, • Manage shared project inboxes, including triaging, tracking, and responding to incoming communications., • Ensure timely routing of queries, following up where needed to maintain service standards., • Maintain high levels of accuracy and professionalism in all written communication., • Administrative & Operational Support, • Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to the project team to ensure smooth operational delivery., • Support in preparing, organising, and maintaining project documentation., • Assist with general office and organisational tasks as needed., • Document Coordination, • Process internal requests for project‑related documents, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality., • Retrieve, compile, and distribute documentation in line with defined procedures., • Maintain structured and compliant filing records., • Complete ad‑hoc operational tasks contributing to project milestones and team efficiency., • Identify opportunities to streamline or improve administrative processes.What you'll need to succeed, • 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative, coordination, or office support role., • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)., • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills., • Confident written and verbal communication., • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a small team., • High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving abilitiesWhat you'll get in return, • Hybrid working is available., • This role offers a genuine opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on performance and project requirements. 4759331
