The Depot Manager is accountable for service delivery, parts performance, workshop efficiency, people development, and maintaining the depot as a flagship representation of the Holt JCB brand. • Oversee daily depot operations across Service, Parts, Workshop, and Field Service., • Ensure efficient job scheduling, technician utilisation, an turnaround times., • Maintain depot standards: housekeeping, tooling, equipment, securing, and presentation., • Drive consistent adoption of Holt JCB processes, and reporting., • Ensure every customer receives a professional, timely, and solution-focused service., • Manage escalations and resolve issues quickly to protect customer relationships., • Build strong relationships with key local customers, contractors, and suppliers., • Lead, coach and develop Service Administators, Parts staff, Technicians, and Engineers., • Contudt 1:1's, performance reviews, probation management., • Manage absence, conduct, and capability in line with Holt JCB policies., • Promote a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture., • Deliver depot P&L targets across labour sales, parts sales, recoveries, and margin., • Monitor WIP, aged debt, stock accuracy, and job profitability., • Ensure accurate job costing, warranty claims, and invoicing., • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and JCB standards., • Maintain audit-ready documentation, risk assessments, and training records., • Lead toolbox talks, safety briefing, and incident investigations., • Oversee parts stock, tooling, loan equipment, and company assets., • Ensure accurate stock control, returns and warranty processes., • Acts with urgency and ownership, • Keeps customers informed without being prompted, • Looks for ways to add value, not just completing tasks., • Takes responibility for depot performance, • Makes decisions confidently and follows through., • Tackles issues early rather than allowing them to escape., • Models Holt JCB values in behaviour and communication., • Treats colleagues and customers with fairness and respect., • Maintains professionalism under pressure., • Cahllenges inefficiencies and seeks better ways of working., • Encourages team suggestions and innovation., • Embraces change and leads others to it., • Intervenes when unsafe behaviour is observed., • Leads by example with PPE, housekeeping, and compliance., • Embeds safety into daily routines and conversations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
