Remediation Project Manager This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in one of the most important areas of the residential property sector today — delivering complex building safety and structural remediation projects that directly improve the safety and quality of people’s homes. You will take ownership of remediation programmes across a large and varied residential portfolio, overseeing projects from early instruction through to completion. Working at the heart of delivery, you’ll coordinate consultants, contractors, developers and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely, transparently, and to the highest standard. This is a highly visible role where your work will have real impact — improving building safety, resolving complex legacy issues, and helping to ensure residents live in safer, better-managed homes. What You’ll Be Doing • Lead the delivery of building safety and structural remediation projects from start to finish., • Coordinate multiple stakeholders including consultants, contractors, managing agents and developers to keep programmes on track., • Monitor progress, manage risk and drive solutions when challenges arise., • Oversee project budgets, funding arrangements and cost control, ensuring strong financial governance throughout., • Manage applications and reporting for government remediation funding schemes, ensuring full compliance with audit requirements., • Support cost recovery through Section 20 processes and engagement with non-qualifying leaseholders., • Work with developers and stakeholders to progress remediation under relevant frameworks and pledges., • Ensure full compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and wider regulatory requirements, including CDM., • Maintain accurate, high-quality project records, audit trails and compliance documentation., • Oversee the “Golden Thread” of building information, ensuring safety and warranty records are complete and accessible., • Provide clear and confident updates through reports, KPIs and stakeholder communications., • Support crisis management and business continuity activity where required., • Ensure residents are kept informed with clear, timely and professional communication throughout all stages of works. What We’re Looking For Essential Experience • Full UK driving licence., • Experience within residential property management and/or Section 20 processes., • Strong understanding of building safety legislation, including the Building Safety Act 2022., • Knowledge of remediation processes and/or funding schemes., • Experience delivering or overseeing complex construction, refurbishment or remediation projects with multiple stakeholders. Highly Desirable • Experience with developer remediation frameworks or pledges., • Project management qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2 or CIOB.
