What You’ll Be Responsible For Own the payroll processManage end-to-end weekly payroll for 750+ employees across multiple statesEnsure payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time—every cycleReconcile payroll prior to submission and validate final reports Ensure compliance and accuracyApply correct federal, state, and local tax rulesReconcile time entries to job-cost timecardsMaintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation Support year-end and reportingAssist with year-end and regulatory reporting, including W-2s, 941s, 1095s, and 1099sPartner with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely and accurate filings Administer benefits with careSupport employee benefits administration, including:New hire enrollmentsEmployee changes and terminationsAnnual open enrollment coordinationServe as a knowledgeable, approachable resource for benefits-related questions Be a problem solverRespond promptly to payroll and benefits questionsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies with professionalism and discretionTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team What You Bring Experience & BackgroundHigh school diploma required; post-secondary degree preferred5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience for 200+ employeesMulti-state payroll experience requiredUnion payroll and reporting experience is a plus (not required) Knowledge & SkillsStrong understanding of payroll best practices and compliance requirementsHigh attention to detail with excellent analytical skillsProven ability to handle confidential and sensitive informationClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working with employees and leaders at all levelsAbility to juggle competing priorities without losing accuracy or focus Technology & ToolsExperience with an in-house payroll system preferredProficiency in Windows-based environmentsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams; PowerPoint a plus) What Success Looks LikePayroll runs smoothly, accurately, and on scheduleEmployees trust payroll and benefits processesIssues are resolved quickly and professionallyCompliance boxes are checked—without drama Work EnvironmentThis role is based on-site at our corporate headquarters in the East Lake-Orient Park area of Tampa, conveniently located near the I-4 / I-75 interchange. What You Will Do • Utilize eCMS ERP to support weekly processing for over 1,000 nationwide associates ., • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely., • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports., • Understand proper state and federal taxation laws., • Reconcile time to the job cost timecards., • Assist in processing accurate and timely year-end reporting (W-2, 941, 1095, 1099)., • Maintain and update employee payroll records., • Assist with managing employee benefits administration, including enrollments, terminations, and annual open enrollment., • Resolve payroll issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner., • Other duties as assigned.What You Need, • 1+ years' experience processing payroll is required., • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred., • Experience with an in-house payroll system is preferred., • Working knowledge of payroll best practices and federal and state regulations., • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook., • Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities., • Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential material., • Strong verbal and written communication skills., • Ability to communicate with various levels of management.Benefits, • 401(k), • 401(k) matching, • Dental insurance, • Flexible spending account, • Health insurance, • Health savings account, • Life insurance, • Paid time off, • Parental leave, • Referral program, • Tuition reimbursement, • Vision insuranceTitan Electric is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
