Mental Healthcare is Broken. Let's Build Something Better. The way mental health care is delivered today is outdated, one size fits all, and inaccessible to many who need it. Traditional therapy and psychiatry delivery models fail to account for the unique experiences, cultural backgrounds, and identities of patients, leaving many without the specialized care they deserve. We are building a new standard of care, one that tailors treatment to the unique needs of different communities. Our vision is to create a specialized mental health practice that deeply understands the experiences of their patients. We are building a modern, patient-centered mental health practice, starting in Texas but with plans to expand nationwide. We launched as a Texas-based virtual practice, but over time, we will open modern, beautifully designed in-person clinics across the state. This is an opportunity to be one of our first hires, to help build something bold from the ground up and grow with us as we scale. Our Vision: A New Standard for Mental Healthcare While Dua Health is launching as a general therapy practice, our long-term vision is to build a network of specialized sub-brands that provide culturally attuned care to diverse communities. These include practices focused on college students, children, veterans, cancer patients, LGBTQ+ individuals, and Black and Brown communities, among others. As a psychiatrist, you'll have the opportunity to see clients across all sub-brands and shape your caseload around the populations and specialties you're most passionate about. We are a group practice of 15+ therapy providers so your case load will mostly be warm referrals from our existing patients who need psychiatric care.
