Job DescriptionAccounts Receivable Associate Pay: $21-$24/hour Industry: Professional Services Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, Onsite Overview Our client in the Professional Services industry is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist to join their growing team in Indianapolis. This individual will be responsible for managing the full A/R cycle, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and payment application. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external clients. Key Responsibilities • Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely manner., • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due accounts., • Apply customer payments and reconcile discrepancies., • Research and resolve billing issues, short-pays, and misapplied payments., • Maintain detailed and organized customer account records., • Prepare A/R reports for leadership as needed., • Collaborate with project managers, operations, and finance to ensure billing accuracy., • Assist with month-end close processes related to receivables.Qualifications, • 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or related accounting support role., • Experience in the Professional Services industry is a plus., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour Search managed by: Elisia Bybee Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
