Job DescriptionLHH is working on a temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist for a company in the Bellevue, WA area. The team is looking for someone with at least four years of previous AR or collections experience, and someone who can communicate professionally. You will be handling payments, resolving account discrepancies, and updating accounts. This position is a temporary role for three months with a full-time in office schedule. Since they need someone quickly, the role offers a quick interview process. Main Responsibilities: • Record daily customer payments by processing cash, checks, and credit card transactions, including those received through the online portal., • Timely post all checks, deposits, and remittance advices., • Retrieve payments from the Lockbox and ensure they are posted accurately., • Prioritize the application of payments to customer accounts., • Prepare journal entries associated with customer deposits., • Maintain positive relationships with customers while following up on outstanding payments., • Support the Credit department by assisting with various projects and tasks as needed., • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications:, • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred., • Minimum of four years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role., • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions., • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to resolve payment issues professionally.
