Experience the vibrant Atlanta healthcare community and enjoy all the city has to offer. • Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Midtown – leading hub for Georgia healthcare jobs), • Assignment Type: Travel Contract, • Start Date: March 2, 2026, • End Date: August 31, 2026, • Duration: 26 weeks, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,310 - $2,370, • Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00), • Hours per Week: 36, • Call: 1 day per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (per department needs), • Floating: Within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed, • Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics, • Minimum 5 years of recent experience as a CVOR First Assistant (3 years considered for strong candidates; first-time travel surgical techs welcome), • Current BLS certification required, • CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) by NBSTSA or NCCSA required, • Extensive experience in Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, and Thoracic procedures (Heart transplant experience highly preferred), • Active Georgia or Compact State surgical tech license (must be in hand at time of submittal), • Epic charting experience preferred, • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred, • Community hospital experience preferred, • Privileging process must be completed prior to start (approx. 3 months), • Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred, • Assist surgeons in complex cardiac, vascular, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries, • Maintain a sterile surgical environment in the operating room, • Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures, • Float to other operating rooms within the facility as needed, • Participate in scheduled on-call rotation, • Ensure compliance with all hospital and healthcare facility policies, • Accurately document patient care using Epic (preferred) Apply now to join our Atlanta healthcare team as a Travel CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant (OR Tech) and take the next step in your surgical tech career!
