Rochester is a top destination for New York healthcare professionals, known for its vibrant arts scene, beautiful parks, and welcoming community. • Location: Rochester, NY 14626 – New York nursing jobs, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026), • Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), every other weekend required, • Hours per Week: 36, • Setting: Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pediatrics), • Charting System: Epic (Epic experience required), • Scrub Colors: Navy and white, • Orientation: 16 hours, • Floating: Required when census warrants, • Active New York Registered Nurse license (must be in hand prior to start), • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience, • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, • Proficiency with Epic charting system, • Clinical skills in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, and emergency medications, • Strong IV skills: starting/maintaining IVs, phlebotomy, central line care, • Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed, • Ability to work every other weekend, • Not accepting local candidates within 75 miles, • Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department, • Assess, triage, and manage patients with diverse diagnoses and acuity levels, • Administer emergency medications, blood products, IV vasopressors, and provide procedural sedation, • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, • Perform phlebotomy, start and maintain IVs, and manage central lines, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services, • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic, • Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols We believe in empowering your career.
