Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Independently manage an active litigation caseload, from inception to trial., • Interface with clients and insurance professionals., • Conduct and defend depositions., • Retain and work with expert witnesses., • Engage in written discovery., • Draft motions and oppositions, and argue same at hearings., • Negotiate settlements independently and at mediation., • Evaluate liability and damages issues and prepare exposure evaluations., • Trial preparation and support., • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience representing clients in construction and/or design professional litigation., • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school., • Must be admitted to practice in MA with admission in other New England states preferred., • Interest in construction projects., • Capable of independent work., • Work in an organized and efficient manner., • Superior research and writing skills., • Ability to multi-task.
