ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 10/06/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, flexible, • 5x8 hour shifts with flexibility for a maximum of 4-10 hour shifts.\n, • No rotating shift schedule.\n, • 2-3 call shifts per month, plus at least 1 holiday assignment.\n\n\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\n\n, • Select exposure factors and position patients to create high-quality diagnostic images.\n, • Collaborate with all departmental members to solve problems expediently.\n, • Exhibit flexibility, team spirit, and compassion while interacting with patients and customers.\n, • Administer oral contrast as required for exams.\n, • Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic exams and assist Radiologists during procedures.\n, • Operate all x-ray equipment, CR and DR systems proficiently.\n, • Report equipment malfunctions to the manager or lead.\n, • Complete all assigned procedures promptly and assist with clerical duties, stocking, and patient transport as needed.\n, • Maintain medication security for authorized personnel only.\n, • Provide healthcare services with competency to patients of all age groups.\n, • Demonstrate effective interpersonal relationships across all age groups.\n\n\nDocumentation and Information Management:\n\n, • Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS competently.\n, • Participate in performance improvement activities as required.\n, • Ensure confidentiality in using personal passwords and patient care modules.\n, • Respond to technical inquiries from physicians and hospital staff while maintaining exceptional phone etiquette.\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n, • Current BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) certification.\n, • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field.\n, • Licensing in the state of New York.\n, • Experience in Neurosurgery or Neuroscience is required.\n, • AART certification is required.\n, • VIR certification is a nice to have.\n\n\nGuaranteed Hours:\n\n, • Health Benefits: Day-1 access to extensive benefits including Medical, Vision, Dental, Life, and more.\n, • Onboarding Made Easy: We coordinate your onboarding essentials—like physicals and titers—so you can focus on patient care while we handle the details.\n, • Clinical Support: Our in-house clinical team is here to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and advocate for you—every step of the way.\n, • 401k Retirement Savings Plan: After a qualifying waiting period, you're eligible to enroll.
