Job DescriptionJob Title: Customer Relations Representative Job Description The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for facilitating and coordinating all services to ensure customer satisfaction while supporting the company and Management Team Members. The role involves proactively ensuring smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Responsibilities • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of customer, vendor, and staff information., • Promote and maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication., • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction., • Maintain communication between all departments to ensure production plans support customer promise dates., • Work closely with purchasing to ensure the availability of components to meet purchase order requirements and quoting initiatives., • Identify and resolve issues to ensure supply continuity and adherence to customer delivery schedules., • Handle customer complaints and share with the team to provide appropriate solutions; follow up to ensure resolution., • Responsible for customer order execution, including price review, delivery, and release requests from receipts to entry into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system., • Analyze customer open orders, forecast, and shipping requirements., • Maintain updated information for purchase orders, price, and revision changes in ERP., • Manage the shipping schedule, shipping documents, and ensure pick-ups are met., • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries as required., • Support the training of Customer Relations Associates and create a team environment that fosters team engagement and collaboration of day-to-day initiatives., • Follow Policies, and Procedures of the Quality Management System (QMS)., • Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential Skills, • Experience in providing customer service support., • Experience within the manufacturing industry., • Experience with an ERP system (Epicor preferred)., • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail., • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills., • Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a great attitude., • Ability to interact with staff at all levels and multi-task in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • High school diploma or equivalent., • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as the MS Office suite., • At least 3 years of experience providing support and the ability to handle a wide range of external and internal customer support and related tasks., • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and is fully onsite. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, fumes, or airborne particles. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Allendale, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
