QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, or the equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with homeless/at-risk population or related area preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of the Suffolk County Department of Social Services is preferred. Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, is required. Knowledge of HMIS strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment is required. Valid and clean NYS Driver’s License required. Flexibility to work at different sites is preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time, as well as moderate lifting.
