Age specific experience and/or special training and/or expertise is required to serve this population Implements a daily program through a consistent daily/weekly schedule that can be shared with the school and/or supervisors.Delivers specialized individual and group instruction.Consults with other staff members that work directly with each of the students in order to better serve the students and their educational/functional needs.Assesses and documents each student's progress through formal and informal tests and measurements.Writes and prepares annual review reports/goals for each student in accordance with their IEP dates in order to remain in compliance with state guidelines.Assists with any school-based speech and language input when writing an FBA/BIP.Provides parent support and education.Attends all school related meetings as scheduled, such as, but not limited to, Triennials, Annual Reviews, Domain, Referrals and pre-IEP meetings for each individual student.Plans and prepares the learning environment by setting up and preparing needs materials and supplies.Follows the guidelines and needs of each of the individual students in the classroom.Maintains professional attitudes and respect to the school.Communicates and follows up with school and families in order to request appropriate MD signatures/orders for school-based occupational therapy referrals in order to initiate and continue with services.Treats all students with dignity, compassion, empathy and respect.Maintains confidentiality about students, their families, and other employees outside the school.Supervises COTA as indicated through state practice act guidelines.Assists the students in activities of daily living such as toileting, feeding, personal hygiene, dressing and diapering as needed.Follows the safety guidelines and directives for the student in regards to functional mobility and orientation (i.e. transfers, wheelchair or walker mobility, etc.) and exercises provided by other related service providers (i.e. physical therapist, vision itinerant, hearing itinerant, occupational therapist, orientation and mobility instructor, etc.).Assists with any devices and assistive technology as outlined by the other related service team members.Collects data and completes reports regarding the student goals and progress.Follows any fire drill or safety guidelines outlined for each individual student.Completes of clear therapy lesson plans in a timely manner in case of any emergencies or substitutes that may have to follow the treatment schedule.Provides screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled school-based speech language pathology intervention relative to client's level of function. As a Regional I/DD Group Home Supervisor, you will primarily oversee the delivery of all services as you ensure services and program environments are of the highest quality to promote maximum integration into the community. You will manage diverse duties and multiple priorities, and maintain effective relationships with people supported, families, staff, and other internal/external departments. You must possess strong initiative, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to be creative, while managing multiple priorities in our Residential Program. Position has on-call responsibilities Monday through Friday but weekends are rotated between Residential Administrators. Specifically, as a Regional I/DD Group Home Supervisor you will: • Promote a positive and productive work environment in a cluster of four adult group homes, • Hire, train, and coach Residential Managers including Assistant Managers and Direct Support Professionals as you promote ACLD’s values and strategic vision., • Ensure quality services are provided to each individual through person-centered planning and maximize opportunities for integration within the community., • Manage multiple budgets and ensure sound fiscal management procedures are followed, • Ensure accurate documentation and service billing is complete and submitted in a timely fashion for assigned programs, • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Human Services required., • 5 years’ experience in the Human Services Field with at least one year working with developmentally disabled adults., • 3 years supervisory experience., • Knowledge of OPWDD systems and regulations essential, • The ability to obtain/maintain/perform (within 180 days of hire) SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention) Certification An Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V 4794 Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Essential Job Functions: • Process a high volume of orders with extreme accuracy., • Provide direct support to the Sales Representatives., • Able to manage a multi-line phone system., • Receive phone orders from customers and enter accurate information into the business system., • Answer the transferred calls and satisfy the customer’s queries with his or her best knowledge & experience., • Assist the Sales representatives as required in researching account issues in a timely and efficient manner., • Provide proper product and service information and in case of lack of knowledge, transfer the call to the Customer Service Manager or research with the help of the appropriate department(s) and provide the customer with accurate information., • Accurate and timely follow up with existing and potential customers Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Excellent communication skills in terms of speaking and writing., • Good interpersonal skills., • Good organizational and time management skills., • Must be able to research billing issues and recognize the documentary process., • Must have calculative skills and minimum required typing speed., • High School Diploma and/or five years of job related experience., • Good verbal and written communication skills, • Computer experience, preferably with all Microsoft applications is required.
