Job Description The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) provides one-to-one behavioral management interventions to the child or adolescent with a serious emotional disturbance, in the assigned home, school or community setting, in support of the family or other responsible adults, in order to prevent more restrictive services or out-of-home placement. The BHT carries out specific behavioral management interventions identified in the treatment plan for the children or adolescent(s) assigned to their care. This role may involve the provision of 1:1 service to a child or adolescent. Services may also be provided to integrate or reintegrate the child into normalizing settings and activities. The BHT is responsible for providing behavioral health interventions to stabilize the child, assist the child in developing age-appropriate self-management skills, and to support, and empower parents, family members, teachers or other adults responsible for supervising the child in an educational or other community setting. The BHT works with the child, school staff, family and the entire treatment team by implementing the plan techniques in order to achieve the desired goals. THE FOLLOWING ARE THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: Communication • Maintain contact with treatment team members (schools, families, wraparound staff, and other relevant parties)., • Clearly and effectively communicate pertinent information to responsible parties., • Advocate for the needs of the consumer to accomplish treatment objectives., • Communicates pertinent treatment information to the Clinical Supervisor., • Completes all progress notes within 72 hours of service to assure appropriate billing of services, • Completes all documentation in a timely fashion and in required formats, including, but not limited to progress notes, incident reports, and encounter forms., • Plans and organizes interventions that support in the social, emotional and educational development of the consumer, based upon the Treatment Plan., • Attends interagency meetings to ensure continuity of service., • Attends mandatory in-service trainings., • Participates in Performance Improvement Activities., • In accordance with the principles of best practice, provides oversight and direction to assigned children., • Assist the parent, teacher or other responsible adults in their efforts to provide direct supervision of the children., • Maintain coordination through interagency meetings., • Provides ongoing support to consumers and other staff as determined by the Written Order., • Creates an environment which fosters positive growth and development for all consumers., • Provides interventions to promote social growth in all consumers., • Directly implements components of the treatment plans developed in conjunction with the treatment team., • Represents agency at conferences, training and interagency meetings, as needed., • Ability to communicate and interact with all staff., • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions., • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from varied groups, including the media., • Ability to accurately calculate numbers, such as in addition, subtraction and percentages., • Ability to give clear and concise oral and written instructions., • Excellent working knowledge of the Behavioral Health system. Job Description OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION: Skilled, Independent Contractor certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy by the Penn Beck Community Initiative will provide trauma-informed therapy to underserved populations on-site at community-based mental health outpatient clinic. This includes diagnostic assessments and individual, group, and family therapy for a diverse caseload of adults ages 18+ experiencing a variety of behavioral health issues. The Independent Contractor will provide monthly group consultations to therapists who are in the process of being CBT certified by the Penn Beck Community Initiative. Skills and attributes for success:- Ensures accurate observance of e-billing requirements and processes.- Prepares monthly, semi-monthly and ad-hoc billing reports for internal and external clients.- Ensures timely invoice submission to clients, based on established timelines.- Creates and distributes ad hoc operational and billing reports to management as requested.- Works with Controller and Accounting Department to identify, review and recommend changes to automate or enhance timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency of billing processes.- Supports internal and external auditors as requested.- Supervises e-billing and receivables staff.- Evaluates e-billing and receivables staff skill levels, recommends any necessary training/changes.- Provides feedback to staff performance appraisals, develops performance management objectives to address concerns, drives engagement and retention; participates in team hiring and separation decisions.- Delegates assignments and projects to staff as appropriate Qualifications:- Demonstrated ability to work well, be influential and articulate initiatives, projects, results, and analyses to senior leadership and staff, including presenting ideas in a clear, succinct manner.- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), professional demeanor and presentation.- Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, takes initiative and uses good judgment, excellent follow-up skills.- Work efficiently with the ability to multi-task and set priorities while maintaining and delivering the highest quality work product accurately.- Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, adapt to a fast paced high pressure environment to achieve business goals and objectives.- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional, collaborative team. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.- Five years of legal billing/receivables experience and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and billing software; Advanced experience in e-billing.- Two years of supervisory experience in similar role and ability to assume a leadership role.- Advanced knowledge of MS Applications to include Excel, Outlook, and Access. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities • Supervises operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, and staff support while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness, • Ensures that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shift, • Observes team member performance in delivering the Friday’s guest experience, providing immediate feedback, coaching, development and recognition, • Ensures all newly hired team members follow and complete their appropriate training plan, • Frequently interacts with Guests ensuring that their experience is delivered in accordance with Friday’s Service Style; and follows up on any issues or complaints they may have, • Conducts motivational staff meetings ensuring that team members are engaged and informed regarding Friday’s food, beverage, promotions, etc., • Ensures great food is served to every guest, • Ensures ambiance of the restaurant is aligned with the Non-Negotiable Brand Standards (NNBS), • Conducts food safety and line checks, to ensure food and beverage standards are met and executed safely., • Manages cash handling procedures: assigns bartender drawers and performs checkouts of servers and bartenders ensuring all tickets are accounted for, all comps have been signed, the proper amount of cash, gift cards and credit card vouchers is obtained from team members, tip share is collected, and the proper amount of tips have been declared., • Approves food and beverage comps or promotions., • Checks in deliveries from vendors; ensuring quality and proper billing., • Prepares end of shift reports., • Ensures a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents. Assists with the completion of accident reports if a guest or employee is injured., • Ensures proper security procedures are adhered to, in order to protect team members, guests and company assets, including security of beer walk-in, liquor room, store room freezer, back-door, safe alarms and office., • Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action., • Conducts pre-screen interviews for team member candidates using applicable interview guides., • Minimum 6 months experience as a Team Member and a Certified coach (internal), • or one year of external restaurant experience with a college degree preferred (external), • Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for all hourly positions
