We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Pharmacy Biller to join our team. Job Description: As a Pharmacy Biller, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursement, and efficient workflow between the pharmacy, patients, and insurance companies. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Processing, submitting, and reconciling third-party insurance claims., • Verifying patient insurance eligibility and coverage., • Investigating and resolving rejected or denied claims promptly., • Communicating with insurance companies, PBMs, and patients regarding billing-related issues., • Handling prior authorizations, overrides, and reimbursement inquiries as needed., • Ensuring all claims comply with insurance guidelines, state regulations, and pharmacy policies., • Maintaining accurate documentation and billing records., • Collaborating with pharmacists, technicians, and call center staff to ensure smooth billing operations. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework is a plus)., • Previous pharmacy billing or healthcare billing experience highly preferred., • Strong understanding of insurance plans, PBMs, deductibles, copays, overrides, and claim rejections., • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain billing issues clearly., • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially with complex claim denials., • High attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing billing requirements., • Proficiency with computer systems, pharmacy software, and general office applications., • Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, Russian, Bengali, etc.) is highly preferred.
