Position Summary The Human Resources Generalist is a strategic and operational leader responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving GTS’s people systems. This role ensures regulatory compliance, workforce readiness, talent development, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness in a highly regulated aerospace environment. The HR Manager will partner closely with executive leadership, operations, quality, and finance to align human capital strategy with GTS’s growth objectives, compliance obligations, and performance standards. Key Responsibilities 1. HR Compliance & Documentation • Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, and Florida labor regulations., • Maintain compliant HR documentation aligned with FAA Part 145, customer audits, and internal governance., • Oversee personnel records, job descriptions, training documentation, and audit readiness., • Partner with Quality and Compliance teams to support regulatory and customer audits involving workforce records. 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for technical, operational, professional, and leadership roles., • Develop workforce plans aligned with production demand, engine programs, and growth forecasts., • Build relationships with recruiting partners, technical schools, and industry pipelines., • Ensure structured, compliant hiring practices and onboarding processes. 3. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management • Own standardized onboarding programs to ensure employees are productive, compliant, and culturally aligned., • Manage employee lifecycle events: promotions, transfers, performance improvement plans, and separations., • Ensure onboarding includes safety, compliance, quality culture, and role clarity. 4. Payroll, Benefits & Compensation Administration • Oversee payroll administration in coordination with Finance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness., • Manage benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and leave administration., • Support compensation benchmarking, job leveling, and internal equity reviews., • Assist leadership with incentive structures, bonus plans, and performance-linked compensation. 5. Employee Relations & Engagement • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders on workplace matters., • Address employee relations issues with professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency., • Foster a culture of accountability, respect, safety, and continuous improvement., • Lead employee engagement initiatives, feedback mechanisms, and retention strategies. 6. Performance Management & Organizational Development • Design and administer performance management processes aligned with GTS goals and KPIs., • Support leadership in setting expectations, delivering feedback, and managing performance., • Develop career pathways, succession planning, and internal talent development., • Partner with leadership to scale organizational structure as the company grows. 7. Leadership Coaching & Manager Support • Coach supervisors and managers on people leadership, communication, and performance management., • Support leaders in handling disciplinary actions, documentation, and corrective actions., • Help build consistent management practices across departments. 8. Training & Development • Support training programs aligned with technical, regulatory, and leadership requirements., • Coordinate with Quality and Operations on training compliance and certification tracking., • Identify skill gaps and recommend development initiatives. 9. HR Systems, Data & Confidentiality • Maintain HR systems and data with strict confidentiality and data protection standards., • Support standardized HR reporting, workforce metrics, and leadership dashboards. Required • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field., • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, aerospace, or regulated industries., • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices., • Proven experience in compliance-driven environments., • Experience in FAA Part 145, aerospace, defense, or industrial operations., • SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification., • Experience supporting technical workforces and multi-shift operations., • Compliance & risk management, • Talent strategy & workforce planning, • Leadership coaching, • Employee relations & conflict resolution, • Organizational development, • Confidentiality & judgment, • Be a key leader shaping the people strategy of a growing global MRO., • Work in a high-accountability, high-performance aviation environment., • Partner directly with executive leadership., • Build scalable HR systems that support long-term growth and excellence.
